Injection Moulding Machine Relocation

JW Electrical were happy to be awarded the contract to relocate a number of injection moulding machines for a world leading manufacturer of aerospace components. 

The project required construction of a temperature controlled insulated room within the factory to house the machinery and keep the sensitive operations controlled. 

JW Electrical took full control of the project, providing a complete project management package. 

Works undertaken included but were not limited to: 

• Design & construction of an insulated room, including airlock pod to enable access/egress while maintaining process temperature 

• Electrical infrastructure upgrades 

• HVAC installation 

• Process water installation 

• Machinery decommissioning, transport and re-establishment in newly constructed facility 

• Process gas line installation & leak detection system 

The project was completed on time and within budget. JW Electrical worked alongside production & engineering on site to ensure successful validation of the new facility and continuity of business.
